What is a Stamped Heat Sinks?

Stamped Heat Sink is a heat sink component made from thin metal sheets (such as aluminum and copper) through precision stamping process. It uses the plastic deformation characteristics of metal to perform a series of operations such as punching, bending, and forming on the sheet through high-precision dies to form a fin shape and structure. Stamped heat sinks are generally suitable for electronic devices with medium and low power density. Working principle:

The stamped heat sink greatly increases the surface area in contact with the air through its unique fin structure formed by stamping. Its heat dissipation efficiency mainly depends on the number, shape, thermal conductivity of the material and airflow conditions (natural convection or forced convection) of the fins.
