The process of the whole product is copper tube plus aluminum plate, which is produced by epoxy bonded process

• ADC 12 Material

• Liquid cold plate with FSW process 

• Input flow rate 0.01m⊃3;/min ( 0.6m⊃3;/h)/10L/Min 

• Environment 45℃ Liquid cold plate surface


Ansys16.0 design model 



• Ambient temperature 45 ℃ 

• Thermal radiation is not considered

• Turbulent flow regime 

• Operating pressure 101325N/m2 on Natural convection



• The number of meshes is 319028

• Set uniform mesh params 

• Mesh assemblies separately

• Allow multi-level meshing

• Allow minimum gap changes

The results

• Used the simple model method, the result  will be different from the actual module. 

• The custom heat sink surface Max temperature is 49.69 ℃, △T=49.69-45=4.69 ℃

• The actual flow resistance test data would be about 0.21-0.3 Bar
