If the ADAS overheats, it can compromise autonomous driving features and overall vehicle safety. Therefore, automotive manufacturers require exceptionally reliable, compact, and efficient thermal management systems that can withstand harsh operating conditions.
2. The Solution & Products Used To meet the stringent thermal requirements of modern smart electric coupes, Winshare partnered with XPeng Motors to develop a highly integrated ADAS Cooling Product for the popular XPeng P7.
Winshare’s engineering team delivered a customized industrial-grade solution featuring:
Integrated Multi-PCB Cooling: A specialized thermal module designed so that multiple PCBs share the same cooling interface, maximizing space efficiency.
Advanced Manufacturing Processes: The cooling blocks were manufactured utilizing Die-Casting aluminum combined with a microchannel Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process and microchannel brazing, ensuring a robust and leak-proof structure.
Comprehensive Simulation: Winshare conducted full-system simulations covering pressure, temperature, and flow channel dynamics to optimize the liquid cooling performance before mass production.
3. The Results & Impact The ADAS cooling module successfully passed 20 rigorous system reliability verification items, proving its durability and safety under automotive-grade standards. The engineering success transitioned flawlessly into large-scale manufacturing. To date, this specific Winshare ADAS thermal management solution has been successfully installed in a total of 250,000 XPeng P7 vehicles. This milestone not only demonstrates Winshare's exceptional technological capability but also its capacity for high-volume, reliable automotive supply chain delivery.
