Liquid cold plate cooling project 800W IGBT 

The customer needs a 300*250*15mm size liquid cold plate, which has three heating modules, the whole power is 800W, 

which is processed by friction stir welding process or buried copper pipe, and the bottom plate of the liquid cooling plate

is made of aluminum 6063. From the whole design, due to the small heating power and the flow rate of 70L/min, The whole

design module is relatively small in difficulty.


The design requirements:

power1 :1*10W=10W;

power2 :1*438W=438W;

power3 :1*363W=363W;

Liquid cold plate with FSW process

Input flow rate 70L/min

Environment 40℃

Max temp on heat sink surface is 81.5 ℃

This model is based on Anysis16.0, which is different from the actual LCP.
