As a relatively high-priced product, cold plate heat sinks often have better materials, and have higher requirements in terms of planning and sealing. Therefore, the price is generally higher than that of air-cooled radiators. The more expensive aluminum cold plate also has many points to pay attention to when using it. Unreasonable use will make the performance of the radiator difficult to play.

The accessories of the water cooling plate have now been well improved in technology, and water leakage caused by the quality of the accessories and compatibility issues is no longer common. Water leakage problems often occur due to installation problems or planning piping problems.

There are many weak points in the cold plate heat sink. The integrated liquid cold plate should be rotated at different angles before installation. If there is any sign of water leakage, stop and check until it is ensured that the radiator does not leak. Install again. After the installation of the split type water cooling is completed, a small amount of water is required for testing, and it is also necessary to ensure that there is no water leakage before being completely watered.

Tie a knot with toilet paper at the junction of the cold plate heat sink, so that if there is water leakage, it can be displayed on the toilet paper more intuitively. Good water absorption can also prevent the liquid cold plate from flowing to other places and difficult to clean.
